Florida for Golfers

Florida is a golfer's paradise, with a multitude of courses to accommodate every golfer's requirements.

The following three courses are situated just off highway 27 - within a few minutes drive of the villa, and provide excellent facilities.

Polo Park

This small course is ideal for the beginner, offering informal facilities for golfers of all ages. Polo Park provides 9 hole golf packages from around 25 dollars per head, including club & electric golf cart rental. Polo Park operates a “Pay and Play” scheme – there's no need to book a tee time in advance – just turn up when you're ready for a round !.

Directions : From Solana head North on HWY27 Polo Park is located approximately 1 mile on the left ( directly opposite Polo Park East ).

Polo Park East

Similar to Polo Park ( above ), this small course is situated within a scenic residential suburb and provides informal golfing facilities for players of all ages.

Highlands Reserve

This club offers slightly more formal facilities for the more experienced golfer. Highlands Reserve offers 18 hole packages from around 50 dollars per head, including club & electric golf cart rental and lunch. It is usually necessary to book a tee time in advance to play at Highlands reserve.

Directions : From Solana head North on HWY27 Highlands Reserve is located approximately ½ mile on the left.

Most clubs operate “open play” and “male/female scrambles” – please check with the club to determine availability for the session of your choice.
